Umalusi approves release of matric results this week

The Umalusi council has voiced serious concern about reports of cheating at exam centres, including candidates found in possession of crib notes, the sharing of exam answers via WhatsApp groups, and imposters found in the examination rooms with answer scripts with different handwritings.

The quality assurance body briefed the media about the approval of the 2022 matric exam results at its offices in Pretoria on Monday.
