Transformation in higher education ‘imperative’ towards realisation on non-racial society

The recent Race and Transformation in Higher Education Conference, co-hosted by Stellenbosch University (SU), Nelson Mandela University and the University of Bath in the United Kingdom, has shone a light on how race and racism have been informing universities’ overall functioning and transformation-related practices.

The conference also included a panel discussion on transformational praxis, culture and lived experiences in SU residences, and a discussion on visual redress.
