‘There’s adequate upgraded security’: Gauteng education confident it can thwart matric exam cheats

Gauteng says it’s ready to prevent cheating during the final matric exams.The province has tightened security to prevent theft and disruptions during the exams.It believes that cheating often occurs when question papers are ready for distribution. 

The Gauteng Department of Education says it has a mechanism to prevent cheating during the 2022 matric final exams.
