SIU to probe claims of degree and tender fraud at University of Fort Hare

PRESIDENT Cyril Ramaphosa has authorised the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) to probe alleged corruption and maladministration, including the enrolment of honours students and awarding of degrees, at the University of Fort Hare.

The SIU is expected to investigate four tenders at the university, including cleaning and gardening service and leasing of student accommodation.
