Screamingly funny musical showcase

If you’re up for some bellyaching laughs and great musical talent, don’t miss Gino Fabbri and Donna Africa in Completely Nuts at On Broadway in Cape Town until 12 February. It’s a comedy review that sets out to prove that “madness, like stupidity, is an entirely subjective affair”.

I shared a stage with Fabbri when we were at Clarendon Park Primary School in Port Elizabeth. Many years later, in Durban, I was blown away by his performance as drummer and singer with the Centrestage All-Star Band in the hit show, The Magnificent 7, which included a number that hinted at his comic talent.
