Violence is on the rise in South African schools, with many reports of pupils stabbing fellow learners to death.
In the latest incident, the Free State education department reported that a Grade 11 pupil from Kaelang Secondary School was stabbed to death in an alleged gang-related feud on Tuesday.

There are four pupils who died at the hands of other pupils in the last three months alone.
In September, a Grade 11 pupil from General Smuts High School in Vereeniging, Gauteng, was stabbed to death by another pupil.
