GDE opens online admissions for Grade 1 and 8

The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) has opened up online admissions for Grade 1 and Grade 8 from the 1st of July.

The online admission requirements have been communicated by the department early to eliminate late submissions.

The GDE statement read:

For admissions of your child to Grade 1 or Grade 8 in a public school, apply online from 08:00 on July 2022 to midnight of 19 August 2022. Parents/ guardians with children going to Grade 1 and/or Grade 8 in 2023 are reminded to log on to www.gdeadmissions.gov.za to apply to a school.
