Department denies primary school disco rape and shooting claims

The Gauteng Department of Education has dismissed allegations of a shooting and rape at a Weltevreden Park Primary School fundraiser. It’s alleged the incidents took place on Friday night at the school’s disco.The school said they won’t comment on the alleged incidents as it’s an “ongoing investigation”.

Allegations of rape and a shooting at a primary school disco in Gauteng have been denied by the provincial education department.

Weltevreden Park Primary School held a disco fundraiser for grades 5 to 7 where it was alleged that high school boys entered the premises and tried kissing the girls, and threatened them with weapons.
