Mbongozi boarding facility where deaf pupils are being accommodated in Mpumalanga
Seventeen deaf matriculants will take their Sign Language exams in Mpumalanga.The pupils have been studying the language as a subject since Grade 1.The provincial education department says it is hoping for a 100% pass in the subject.
Seventeen Grade 12 pupils from Mpumalanga will sign their names into the province’s history books when they do their Sign Language examinations.
The group will become the first from the province to write the exam, scheduled for 10 November at Bukhosibetfu Inclusive School in Nkomazi.
