At school and home there are quick wins to build word knowledge intentionally. Develop vocabulary through word relatedness: categories, antonyms and synonyms, analogies, semantic absurdities, narratives, and morphology.
In education, our goal should be to build deep thinkers who can problem solve and grapple with all types of information and situations with which they are faced. Dyspraxia is a neurodevelopmental difficulty, and as with dyslexia and other neurodevelopmental disorders, there is no cure for dyspraxia. It is a lifelong condition.
